Get ready for jamming on the river with Randy Clemons and Steve Langley, old friends of Gene from high school.  The best thing about live music is that you can share it with friends on the deck, watching the river go by and enjoying your favorite  Bushwhacker Bend Wine ( or beer for you non-wine drinking few ). 
 
MO 340 Race (07/23/2013)
This date is the start of the MO 340 kayak, canoe boats race from Kansas City.  Boats will be arriving throughout the day on July 24th in Glasgow.  There will be a food stand set up at Stump Island sponsored by the Glasgow Main Street Association for the participants. 

A good place to watch the kayak racers will be from the deck at Bushwhacker Bend while you enjoy a glass of your favorite wine.

Come cheer on the participants.

 
Glasgow Jamboree (08/10/2013)
Along the street in Glasgow, made of bricks, volunteers in period dress demonstrate 1800's crafts and chores such as quilting, weaving, chair caning, dutch oven cooking, coffee grinding and other skills.

Children can participate in old time games.
